SpatialCortex exhibited their MOVA™ technology which uses wearable sensors and analytics to help workplaces understand, anticipate and prevent manual-handling injuries or Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) at the #EHF24 conference organized by the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) 23-24 April 2024.
This event gave SpatialCortex an unique opportunity to showcase and get valuable feedback about MOVA™ from industry leaders, practitioners and the wider community. MOVA™ generated several interests from sectors including health-care, manufacturing, construction, and manufacturing.
SpatialCortex’s founder Kailash Manohara Selvan met Ben Peachey, CEO of CIEHF, and discussed about how MOVA™ enables workplaces take a proactive approach to safety and injury prevention. Ben emphasized the importance of emerging technologies like MOVA™ in shaping the future of ergonomics and human factors and thanked SpatialCortex’s support to the conference and the community.
At the event, we met Bob Bridger (RS Bridger), a renowned consultant and author in Human Factors and Ergonomics with over 4 decades of experience. Rob shared valuable insights on the use of MOVA™ ergonomic risk assessment solution in industrial settings. Rob is working on the 5th edition of his successful textbook book ‘Introduction to Human Factors and Ergonomics’ which will be published in 2025. It is a valuable must have for students, existing practitioners and new entrants into the discipline
Kailash said, ‘It was a great event to attend and is one among the series of things we are doing to raise awareness as we bring our MOVA™ technology to market. We look forward to attending again next year.’
