Graduate / Early-Career Biomechanist
Location: Chippenham, UK (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and inquisitive Biomechanist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to apply their biomechanics and ergonomics knowledge in real-world occupational settings.
You will work closely with our clients and research partners to collect, analyse, and interpret movement data using our MOVA® technology, helping to identify and reduce MSD risks. You’ll also contribute to our ongoing R&D activities, technical documentation, and outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Support the deployment of MOVA® technology with clients and trial partners, including data collection and field assessments.

Analyse movement and posture data using SpatialCortex tools and established biomechanical methods to assess MSD risk exposure.

Generate clear, data-driven insights and support senior staff in communicating findings and recommendations to clients.

Contribute to R&D projects, helping to refine our technology, methods, and analytics.

Assist in preparing technical reports, case studies, and conference papers.

Support outreach activities, such as writing LinkedIn articles, participating in trade shows, and attending technical events.
Desired Skills & Attributes

A degree in Biomechanics, Human Movement Science, Ergonomics, Sports Science, or a related discipline.

Familiarity with biomechanical modelling and/or motion analysis tools.

Interest in occupational biomechanics, MSD risk assessment, and HSE frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Effective communicator — able to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Empathetic and people-focused, with an ability to understand the challenges faced by workers and employers.

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Willingness to travel to client sites and research partners within the UK.
