Tackling Musculoskeletal Disorders: SpatialCortex Partners with LNER

We’re proud to announce our partnership with LNER to trial MOVA, our wearable motion analytics technology, to help proactively understand and manage Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), one of the leading causes of ill health among rail industry staff.

This trial will see MOVA deployed across a diverse range of roles, from onboard hosts and passenger assistance teams to station staff and office-based colleagues. By combining wearable tech with AI-powered analytics, we're helping organisations gain better insight into movement-related risks and supporting healthier working practices.

The collaboration follows our successful participation in Future Labs, the Department for Transport operator’s flagship innovation accelerator, where innovators and technology companies like SpatialCortex work alongside industry stakeholders to bring transformative technologies into the rail sector.

This collaboration represents more than a product trial, it's about embarking on a proactive and data-led approach that can lead to a real difference to health and safety outcomes, improving operational efficiency and importantly protecting colleagues from MSDs.
